This Summer I went to see the Color Purple at the Kennedy Center.  The acting was superb and the music was cool.  The dance numbers were choreographed well and were very exciting.

On the 4th of July, My mom and I were leaving a barbeque at my sisters house. As we were pulling away from the curb, this guy in a black car was speeding down the road in the opposite direction.  He lost control of his car and hit my mom's car head on.  As a result, my mom suffered a tibia plateau fracture and had to have surgery.  My new summer job: Taking care of my mom.
