Bill Melendez was
born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico on November 15, 1916. He was a
character animator, film director, and producer. He was
hired by Walt Disney in 1938. He left during the
1941 Disney animators strike and started working for Leon Schlesinger
Productions and its successor company, Warner Bros. Cartoons. He
died on September 2, 2008 in Santa Monica, California. |
