What is Hispanic Heritage Month?




     Hispanic Heritage Month is a celebration of the culture and history of many Hispanic countries.  It begins on September 15th, the anniversary of independence for several Countries.  Those countries are Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.  Mexico declared independence on the 16th, and Chile the 18th.
