Jessica Marie Alba was born April 28, 1981. She started her career in television and movie appearances at age 13. Her role in the famous series in Dark Angel as a lead actress in 2000-2001. Then her other movies included Honey (2003), Sin City (2005), Fantastic Four (2005), Into the Blue (2005), Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Good Luck Chuck both in 2007. Alba fears being typecast as a sex kitten and maintains a strict no-nudity clause in her contract. She thinks roles making her look proactive gives her a bad name. My favorite movie that Alba stared in was Honey. Jessica Alba was born in California and her Hispanic heritage comes from her dad who is Mexican American. Her mom is French Canadian and Danish.
Alba also has roles in life as philanthropist. She is gracious in her charity work as she offered herself for acting for free to raise money for a benefit which caused an uproar, this was to raise money for AIDS. Her charity work includes: Clothes Off Our Back, Habitat for Humanity, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Project HOME, RADD, Revlon Run/Walk for Women, SOS Children Villages, Soles4Souls, and Step up. Alba has also posed for a themed print campaign called declare yourself. The theme is always bondage which encouraged people to vote. She is also politically active for last year when she endorsed Barack Obama in the 2008.
