*Carlos Santana*

 Carlos Santana is a famous global icon, from his musical work with the guitar and composing songs, to his acts of humanitarianism all over the world (http://www.santana.com/carlos/default.aspx). He was born in Autlán de Navarro, Jalisco, México, getting influenced by many famous artists while he was growing up, such as B.B. King. In 1966, Santana formed a band called the Santana Blues Band, gaining popularity as time went on. Now working solo (but still having help from the Santana Blues Band), he plays music and creates songs using the guitar, the piano, and his own vocals. Specializing in rock, jazz fusion, and blues rock (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Santana) Santana is known worldwide for his wonderful music and great collaborations with many other artists. He created many songs such as "Maria Maria" and "I'm Feeling You" (a collaboration with Michelle Branch), having his songs played all over the nation.
