  Jennifer Lopez is a world-renowned singer, dancer and actress. She was born on July 24, 1969, in the Bronx, New York. Growing up, she started out her career by being a dancer and landing small roles in TV shows and movies. However, her big break came when she landed the lead role in the movie Selena, a movie that shows the biography of the late famous singer Selena Quintanilla. Since then, her career took off, and she was also able to acquire a Latin pop singing career, selling platinum albums in the process.
