No cars, no opened stores, and no electric in some places; what are you to do? "If you can't beat it, join it." During what many people found as a crisis, many people found this as a great time to release their inner youth. From snow angels, snowmen, skiing, sledding, and even snowboarding; these activities kept many people calm and content.

After the 2010 Blizzard, digging out your seemed like it would take a life time. Some people even believed by the time they would finish digging out their car, the snow would be melted...they were wrong. If people were caught without a shovel outside, they and their cars were out of luck. However, many people to the easy way out, and hired people to come shovel out their cars, but also their walkways, drive ways, and even stairs.

 

Black ice, huge pot holes, slushy roads, and humungous snow banks caused many of damage this winter. The pretty, yet very dangerous snow conditions caused over hundreds maybe even thousands of car crashes. Some crashes were even fatal. Unlike many crashes, these wrecks were almost impossible to prevent, even for some cars with 4-wheel drive. Everyone was at risk in this storm. News casts and even police advised everyone to stay indoors at all times for safety reasons.
