Black History Month

February has been recognized by every U.S. president as Black History Month since 1976. The tradition of celebrating the achievements of African-Americans in The United Sates was derived from "Negro History Week". We are not the only country that celebrates their African history either. Countries like Canada and the United Kingdom also celebrate at their respected times.
