Not being able to go
to school where you want or not even having the music you like to
listen to today because these two important figures didn't accomplish
what they did.

February has been recognized by every U.S.
president as Black History Month since 1976. The tradition of celebrating
the achievements of African-Americans in The United Sates was derived from
"Negro History Week". We are not the only country that celebrates their
African history either. Countries like Canada and the United Kingdom also
celebrate at their respected times. |
